Summer Temporary Staff for Combined Service at Hospitals in Köping, Fagersta, and Sala

For the summer of 2026, we are looking for service staff for our Combined Service operations at the hospitals in Köping, Fagersta, and Sala. As a summer temp, you will be an important part of a significant operation where you help make a difference.

The Combined Service operation is organizationally placed within the Property and Service administration. The operation works with service to healthcare and is responsible for cleaning, departmental kitchens, and patient-related services within the region. The purpose is, among other things, to support healthcare staff so they have more time for patients.

Job Description

We are looking for substitutes for several work areas at the hospitals in Köping, Fagersta, and Sala. You will need to choose which location you want to work at, but you have the opportunity to express interest in all workplaces within the hospital. The tasks will vary slightly depending on which workplace you will be working at. You will receive an individually tailored introduction.

Workplaces

Köping Hospital:

• Patient-related service
• Cleaning service and external cleaning
• Transport and cleaning

Fagersta Hospital:

• Patient-related service
• Cleaning service and external cleaning
• Transport and cleaning

Sala Hospital (B driver's license required):

• Patient-related service
• Cleaning service and external cleaning
• Transport and cleaning

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. A completed and approved high school education is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience working in service. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and good computer skills. Since the work can be physically demanding at times, we expect you to be in good physical condition.

As a person, you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and responsible. You enjoy working in a customer-facing role where good service, collaboration, and good relationships are important.

For work in transport, external cleaning, or in Sala, a B driver's license is required.

We are looking for someone who can work from June to August 2026, with a possibility of extension into the fall.

Employment Conditions

Hourly employment. Day, evening, and weekend work may occur within our units.

The recruitment period runs from December to March. Feedback on whether you are offered a job for the summer will be given in February-April.

Start date according to agreement.
